About the activity: search for caimans
For the caiman search, we will return to the river and take a boat ride with a spotlight. Then, we will navigate along the banks of the river in search of some caimans. The light reflected in the eyes of the caimans will help us locate them and we will be able to observe them. The size of the caimans in the Tambopata National Reserve is approximately one to one and a half meters. With a little more luck, you will be able to see adult caimans. You will also enjoy the experience of navigating the Tambopata River at night.
