Day 1: Arrival and Initial Exploration

We will start with your arrival at the airport, where you will be met by our guide. From there, we will transfer you to our office, approximately 10 minutes by bus, so you can reorganize your luggage according to the needs of the trip. Then, we will head by bus for 1 hour to the port of the native community of Infierno, where we will embark on an exciting 45-minute boat ride to Ñape Lodge, enjoying a delicious lunch along the way.

In the afternoon, in coordination with the guide, you will have the opportunity to take a 40-minute hike up to the 37-meter observation tower where you can get a breathtaking panoramic view of the jungle. It is also an excellent place to observe colorful birds such as parrots, macaws, toucans, among others. The activity lasts approximately 1:30. On the way back from the tower we might also observe some animals on the way.

Night walk

In the evening, we will venture on a fascinating night walk to discover the active life of the jungle at night.

Day 2: Exploration of the lake and parrot clay lick

4:30 am Breakfast.

Early in the morning, we will go by boat to the parrot clay lick to witness the impressive spectacle of these colorful birds that usually feed on clay containing mineral salts, this place is called collpas that are on the banks of rivers.

Then we will head to the beautiful Tres Chimbadas Lake. We will take the boat upriver for 20 minutes, followed by a short walk of 30 minutes and a catamaran ride for 2 hours, the Tres Chimbadas Lake has an amazing panoramic view, the water mirror in the morning creates a unique sunrise, it is also a good place for sightings of exclusive and unique birds of the place, such as herons, hoatzin, Martin fisherman, cormorant, anys, toucans, among others. It is also an exclusive habitat for black caimans, a family of river otters, 4 species of piranhas. Here, you will have the opportunity to admire the wildlife in its natural environment. Afterwards we will return to the lodge.

1:00 pm Lunch.

In the afternoon we will participate in 02 cultural activities, such as archery and then visit the ethnobotanical garden. Where we will learn more about medicinal plants and their properties. The activity lasts 2 hours or more.

7:30 pm Dinner.

SEARCH FOR CAIMANS, in the darkness of the Amazon along the Tambopata River driving the boat using a powerful headlamp, the creatures adapted to the dark are very active in hunting along the river, caimans often wait for their prey right there between the water and the land. We will also be lucky to see some jaguar, puma, capybara or deer which are nocturnal animals that usually prowl along the river banks.

Día 3: Return

After breakfast, we will say goodbye to the jungle and head back to the city of Puerto Maldonado. Before heading to the airport, we will stop by our office to pick up our bags or any additional assistance you may need. This day marks the end of your exciting jungle adventure, taking with you unforgettable memories and enriching experiences.
