Activity Details: Discovering New Species at Ñape Lodge
Our biodiversity is at great risk, as the loss of forests takes with it a wide variety of species that we may not even be aware of. And we cannot protect what we do not know. In this activity, you can become a citizen scientist and assist the Wired Amazon Program in developing the Discovering New Species project, which aims to contribute to the species inventory of the Tambopata National Reserve.
This activity is located 75 meters from the lobby.
The resident researcher will provide you with all the information you need to participate in the sampling of tiger moths. Additionally, you can learn about other insects that approach the light trap every night.
